  23. The critical information I want is the CURRENT Transmit and Receive
  24. Speed.  Try to get that information from your 1 LED. The Supra's
  25. 2 Digit LCD has prooven very useful to me. It beats droping down into
  26. command mode to get the information, assuming that you can.

  53. Again, I'm not saying they are the best, mainstream saves me
  54. headaches. Imagine if such a bug poped up in the Cyrix, would there
  55. be all the software workarounds that were put in place.  If a
  56. mainstream component fails, the problem will be analyzed to death
  57. and if a solution is possible it will be found.

  59. Yes the S3 COM port conflict is a pain, but everyone knows about
  60. it and there are well documented workarounds.

  62. Almost all components have flaws, if you stick with mainstream
  63. they will most likely get worked around the quickest.
